Qin Mu is the protagonist of Tales of Herding Gods. He is an orphan that was picked up as an infant and raised by the disabled elders of the Disabled Elderly Village who became his adoptive parents.
He is only a consciousness born in body of the "Son of Youdu"(Qin Feng Qing). In chapter 891 he separates from his "borrowed body" and from then on he becomes his own person, he can finally be Qin Mu, not just a consciousness who has to share a body that was not even his from the beggining.
In chapter 897 he discarded his "Big Brother"(Son of Youdu) to save him but kept his body as a house for his soul, but failed and lost his soul in the process.
His flesh is 32 years old and his soul managed to survive, and as a newborn soul, he can finally be himself, in his own body, not just a soul attached to another body like before.
After he separated from Qin Feng Qing and kept his body, he still posseses the bloodline of the Qin Family but his soul has no relation with Qin Family any more.

Appearance[]
He looked to eleven to twelve years of age, and he had delicate features, such as his red lips and white teeth. With his shirt half-open, a jade pendant dangled in front of his chest.
Personality[]
He is calm and collected, filled to the brim with vigor, unyielding personality. Underneath that exterior front, he is also calculative, cunning and sly. His facial expressions, and gestures are incredibly deceptive to the point where it has become of nature for him, it practically makes him the master of exterior emotions.
His character is unlike any other people of his age and he is even more scarier than old ancient monsters who has lived for centuries. The downside to this is that he is incredibly dense, and overly humble to that point that other people believe he is exaggerating and utterly shameless but he means it truthfully.
Background[]
As a baby, Qin Mu was found crying by the river near the Disabled Elderly Village by Granny Si, who brought him back to the village where the inhabitants of the village raised him as one of their own. They initially believed that he was just a normal human, though Village Chief and Apocrathy lied and said he had an Overlord Body. As a result, he received the harsh training of the village and was bestowed each of their skills until one day his qi miraculously awakened.
History[]
He starts his journey at the age of 8 where he learned various professions from the Disabled Elderly Village from different kinds of people he was taught of many things like unique techniques battle art, divine arts, and other arts that can shake the world if they were to be public and cause war to happen he taught many famous and the strongest techniques and skills from young from people that were legendary and legend of their own era's all of them were character of strength, power, intellect, wisdom, and other stuff he was also taught to be cunning so he was very weird from his age and also very dense his sense of morality and the way he sees the world is not the same with other people he is very intelligent and cunning but is also very easy to trick he was also strong from people of his age due to his very thick Qi that's he can overpower any people of the same realm as him and also fight those of higher realms he does not have spirit body but his body was extremely weird that even the sword god who had old wisdom and has met and seen many strange and mysterious thing and people was stumped.
At the age of 14 he finished his adult ceremony and defeated all of his teachers so that he could go to the outside world that he so longed for and this was were his journey to the outside begins.
Eternal Peace Empire Sect War[]
This starts when he started to travel out of the Great Ruins once he was out he got influenced into the surroundings and also was chased by the sects that are having war he was still not well known but with his coming into Imperial College he started to gain fame as many titles were placed above his head and he was also send to the front lines in the fight between the sects and the empire and he did many meritorious deeds and also brought disaster and calamities to where he visited so much so that many wanted him to be killed.
Going Home for New Years[]
Since he became the Cult master of the Heavenly Saint Cult and ordered them to kill many experts in the war between sects and the eternal peace empire many young generations had deep hatred against him and they tried to kill him from going back to the Great Ruins they blocked his way and many of them were killed one by one by him using many different methods until they finally got killed off and only a bunch of them remained.
He also traveled to come and bring back the people of Disabled Elderly Village because they were finding out the mysteries of Carefree Village he found them and saved them by the helped of Devil King Dutian that he captured during the war between the sects and his elders also found a compass that was sealed by Village Chief because Qin Mu was still not strong enough to know his origins.
Eternal Peace Empire Throne Fight[]
This happens when he was still away from the eternal peace empire and the crown prince of the eternal peace empire Ling Yuxia coveted the throne and wanted himself to be the sons of heaven he allied with the two sacred grounds Great Thunderclap Monastery and the Dao Sect to help him but it was all destroyed when Qin Mu came to the picture and he brought and healed Imperial Preceptors and Emperor Yanfeng's Injuries and Brought them to the Heavenly Temple to stop Ling Yuxia's coronation.
Ling Yuxia was killed by Qin Mu he was beheaded at the top of Temple of Heaven and the Imperial Preceptor and the emperor and many other people saw this and then they killed all the rebels as well as the disciples of the Dao Sect and the Great Thunderclap Monastery.
Ghost Valley[]
This arc started when he finally activated the broken sword that he got from Rolan's Golden Palace and traveled into Ghost Valley to scout for the mysteries of the sword that was name Carefree sword.
That was also where he found a ship from carefree village and discovered that it was the ship that brought him as an infant as well as other clansmen of the Qin family and he witnessed its history and also found his father.
This is also where he found that there were many worlds out there and also where he could finally see the Earth Counts Nine Bend Springs the one where souls go after they die and also where he and Pangong Tso the body that was possessed by the soul of the old monster in Rolan's Golden Palace fought each other and they tried to kill each other but could not so they just stop until they met again the war between empires.
In this he also helped the master of the True Heaven Palace to escape with her daughter from their fate of being killed of by the new family that is controlling the true heaven palace they were saved by Qin Mu and tagged along with him.
Eternal Peace And Barbarian Di Empire War[]
It was because the eternal peace empire were weakened due to the internal fighting with the sects and then the fight for the throne and the snow disaster that was why the Snow Wolf Store Country and Barbarian Di Empire took this chance to destroy eternal peace and split the lands equally to themselves.hi
